We're currently hunting for a talented Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our dynamic Product Team. The person will be responsible for delivering high-quality backend services, contributing to our cause of fighting food waste with cutting-edge tech solutions! 🚀

🔥 What is our tech stack?

• Backend: NodeJS, NestJS with Typescript and GraphQL. We use Vendure as an ecommerce engine
• Infrastructure: Github, GCP, Terraform for IaC
• Frontend: React and React-Native with Typescript and Tailwind

📌 Responsibilities:

• Software Development: Write clean, testable code using NodeJS, NestJS and Typescript programming languages.
• Upgrade & Maintenance: Develop backend components to improve performance and responsiveness, maintain and upgrade existing systems.
• Technical Planning: Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging, also contribute to setting and enhancing back-end strategy and architecture.
• Integration: Collaborate closely with frontend developers for integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Training & Collaboration: Provide training and support to internal teams, work with data scientists and analysts to improve software.

📝 Required Skills and Experience:

• Native in Hungarian and fluency in English (both oral and written).
• 5+ years of experience in backend or full stack development, with strong proficiency in React, React Native and Typescript.
• Leadership skills and experience mentoring junior team members.
• Deep understanding of databases, system architecture, and back-end technologies.
• Outstanding communication and teamworking ability.
• A strong commitment to contributing to sustainability.
