📃About the role
Are you a creative and insightful Product Designer / UX Researcher with a passion for creating user-centric solutions? Do you want to use your design skills to make a meaningful contribution to sustainability and reducing food waste?

💡 Key Responsibilities

Structure and Evaluate User Feedback:
Collect and analyze user feedback from various channels including surveys, usability tests, and direct interactions to understand user needs and pain points.

Conduct Competitor Benchmarking:
Conduct competitor analysis to understand industry standards, identify gaps in our offerings, and provide insights for product improvements.

Design and Conduct UX Research:
Conduct comprehensive UX research to gather insights on user behaviors, needs, and motivations using a variety of research methods including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and desktop research. -
Collaborate with the Product team:
Collaborate with the product team to translate user research findings into detailed product specifications that guide development and ensure user-centric design. -
Perform UX Audits and thorough reviews:
Perform UX audits and reviews of our software portfolio to identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable changes to enhance the user experience. -
Document User Journeys:
Map out and document user journeys to visualize user interactions with our products and identify opportunities for improvement. -
Create UX Wireframes:
Design intuitive and functional wireframes that serve as blueprints for the final product, ensuring a seamless user experience. -
Build Prototypes:
Develop prototypes to showcase concepts, information architecture, and interactions, effectively communicating design ideas and gathering feedback. -
Contribute to UI Design:
Utilize basic knowledge of Figma to create and refine design prototypes, with the ability to contribute to the existing UI design as needed.
📝 Skills and Experience
- Fluency in English and Hungarian is required; additional language skills are an advantage.
- Proven experience in product design or UX researcher role (minimum 3 years).
- Strong ability to gather and interpret user feedback from diverse channels.
- Experience in conducting competitor benchmarking and deriving actionable insights.
- Proficiency in UX research methodologies including desktop research, user interviews, and surveys.
- Experience in collaborating with product teams to write detailed specifications.
- Demonstrated ability to perform UX audits and reviews.
- Expertise in documenting user journeys and translating them into actionable design strategies.
- Proficiency in creating UX wireframes and using tools such as Figma.
- Experience in building prototypes to demonstrate concepts, information architecture, and interactions.
- Basic UI design experience is a plus.
