Munch is a cutting-edge food waste marketplace on a mission to reduce food waste and help businesses sell their surplus food easily. We're expanding to new regions, and we're looking for a Mid-Senior Level Sales Specialist to help drive our growth in Košice.
If you're passionate about food waste reduction, business development, and can independently strategize and execute in a new market, this role is for you! You will be the sole representative in Košice, working remotely with a collaborative team spread across Slovakia, Hungary, and the Czech Republic and Romania.
📌 Responsibilities:
- New Partner Acquisition: Be the face of Munch in Košice, going door-to-door to engage potential partners, including restaurants, bakeries, cafes, and supermarkets.
- Strategy Development & Execution: Build and execute a strategic plan to acquire new partners across the entire Košice region.
- Key Account Management: For larger partners, take on partial Key Account responsibilities to ensure strong relationships and long-term success.
- Self-Management & Goal-Oriented: Independently manage your daily tasks and consistently hit acquisition targets while ensuring high-quality interactions with each partner.
- Time Management: Efficiently plan your time to cover the full area of Košice and region and maximize outreach while maintaining focus on key objectives.
- Remote Collaboration: Work closely with the Slovakian team to align on company goals and ensure seamless communication and execution.
📝 Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales and partner acquisition, with a focus on door-to-door or direct outreach methods.
- Ability to build strategies and turn them into actionable plans with clear goals and timelines.
- Self-driven and goal-oriented, with excellent time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with partners.
- Passion for the environment and reducing food waste.
- Fluency in Slovak (native) and English (minimum B2 level); knowledge of Hungarian or Czech is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and handle the responsibility of being the sole representative in Košice.
